ITCH’s Operation

STEP 1. Reel the ITCH into the Sea

  • Using the winch from the fore side for the chock.

STEP 2. Hull Cleaning

  • The ITCH will attach to the hull using the towbar and the ship’s propulsion and hydrodynamic forces (fluid force), moving from the bow to the stern by receiving slack from the winch and the AI operated rudder will control the up and down movement.
  • The ITCH will keep a safe distance from the anchor, bow thruster, bilge keel, and when it reaches the safe distance from the propeller, the ITCH will be retracted (stern to bow), repeating the cleaning process.
